Libby began making quilts 30 years ago, & has evolved from a traditional handworker to one of the leaders in innovative machine stitching. Her studio art quilts have won many awards & appear in private, corporate, & museum collections as well as numerous publications. Libby’s quilt Joy Ride was chosen as one of The 20th Century’s 100 Best American Quilts. In addition to making quilts, Libby teaches, judges & lectures internationally.

Thread painting, reverse and surface appliqué, decorative stitching, bobbin drawing, couching, free-motion quilting -  these are just some of the techniques you will learn while making this delightful 18" square sampler quilt. Libby will teach you all you need to know (and then some!) about creating your own art quilts. Come join in on the fun.
