Rembrandt Portraiture with a Twist
The focus of this workshop is to create dramatic, expressionistic portraits. Rembrandt, La Tour, Caravaggio, all incorporated the technique of using a single, directional, light source to create depth and mystery in their imagery. Using traditional elements of composition with a contemporary spin, enhanced with textile paints, you will create an expressive portrait juxtaposing light and dark as your tools of intrigue.
3 days, January 28, 29 + 30
